Once upon a time...

It's a crazy week so I only have 2 things for you, but they're pretty good if I do say so myself:)

First, I just stumbled across a new blog yesterday, Keep it classy, Alabama.  She's hilarious and doing a Marley Lilly monogram scarf giveaway!

And second, remember that first date I told you guys about last week?

Well I wore this...

I was a little nervous about the sweater thing, I just found it on clearance at TJ Maxx last week and picked it up because hello? Who can pass up a $7.99 sweater?? Not this girl! (And apparently I couldn't pass up any regularly priced sweaters either, but more on that later)

We went out Friday night and it was a nice way to start off the weekend.  I wanted to keep it simple so we just went out to Aurelios for pizza (nom) and then to a movie. We saw Moneyball with Brad Pitt and it was a good balance of funny for a first date so I was pretty happy with our choice.

It was perfect :)

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday Ya'll!

I'm going back home this weekend and I can't wait for a nice relaxing weekend hanging out with the fam. Wait, who am I kidding? Weekends at home are almost busier than the ones here at school!

This weekend I'll be

-Working at the Doctor's Office that I've been working at since I was 16
-Going on a first date with a cute boy;)
-Hanging out with my favorite nuggets
-Sunday Dinner at the grandparents, a tradition that goes back to before I can remember
-Shopping for a Thanksgiving outfit/ making returns from my last shopping trip. That's what I got for not trying things on!
-Visiting Sam, who goes to school at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Lunch in the city? Yes, please.


You try fitting all that into 2 1/2 days! ;)
