In other news, it's been a crazy weekend/ week!

•  I've had my first guest post  over at Simply Sarah (Go show her some love!)

•  I went shopping at the Aurora Outlet mall and had fabulous luck finding adorable things! But that's a story for another day. They deserve a post all their own:)

I do love a good shopping trip with good friends:)

• I made adorable funfetti heart-shaped cookies with Matt while he was visiting.  I've never had funfetti as cookie dough but love it in cake form so we gave it a whirl. LOVE.

They're so delicious and I love them because Matt frosted 24 cookies with pink frosting with no complaints:)

• And! I got new tires on my car! Ha, not very exciting, but she was all cleaned and detailed...it looked like she was new again! 

 **Note: I did not get a picture before it snowed and ruined the shot:( ::insert sadface here::

Happy Hump Day, Pretty Ladies!

I'm going to be all over the board today, talking about a milllion little details that just didn't seem to warrant their own posts, so stay with me!

1. I've stumbled across two awesome blogs that belong to sorority sisters of mine.

2. I also came across another awesome blog today with a fantastic link-up/swap opportunity.

Tara over at Fabulous But Evil is teaming up with 2 other bloggers to put on a Valentine's Day swap! It's only $10 and it's always fun to get prezzies in the mail. Go check it out and sign up. Maybe we'll be matched together! :)

3. I'm 90% sure I'm going to sign up for the Color Run in Chicago 6/9/12.

It's only a 5K and I believe that a group of girls from my house are signing up as a XO team, so I'll have some awesome motivation.  Is anyone else doing this run in their city?

Hopefully I look as happy as this girl when I'm done running the 3 mile race;)

4. I just got an email telling me that my VS package should be waiting for me when I get home.

I'm so excited to try on the multi-wear dress that I told you guys about here. Not to mention the 2 clearance shirts I got for $7.99 each.  Now that is a deal;)  I'll be sure and let you guys know how it goes!

7-in-1

I've been getting all of these "Clearance-last chance for 99% off" emails in my inbox and since I was off today, I decided to check them out. After all, I had (Keyword: had) a bit of Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket.  And I am definitely one of those people that think "gift money" should be used solely on yourself.


Well, I was super-duper-uber-pee your pants excited when I came across this dress in the Victoria Secret clearance!

 

It's a dress that can be worn seven ways! How fan-freaking-tastic is that?!

I can wear it

• v-neck

• double strap one shoulder
• one shoulder
• halter
• back braided

And I am alllll about a budget friendly dress that can act as 7 dresses!! Now if only it came with a Victoria Secret body....but that's a post for another day;)
