Santa Visits & Shopping Continues

Hello Lovelies:)

I promised I'd finish my weekend recap so here goes.

Saturday I woke up early to go babysit and make a little extra Christmas cash. When I got off in the early afternoon I came home to help make our special super secret family Christmas cookie recipe. We make them every year and they are a 3 day process!
After that, it was time for the Christmas Party. Every year family friends throw a party a week or 2 before Christmas where Santa comes and hands out a gift for everyone.  Santa is played by a neighbor and the kids (all 12 and under except for me!) really believe that it's Santa! Too cute:)  And it's fun because I'm still considered a "kid" so I walked away with a present too!

Cute, right?! :)

Sunday was church in the morning like a good granddaughter, and then shopping with my aunt.  She needed to get some last minute things and some stocking stuffers for the family so we headed to the mall.  I only had a few hours because I had to go babysit again around 2, but we went back out after I got home around 7:)

So basically my weekend was filled with tons of Christmas things and I'm definitely getting into the holiday spirit!

What did you all do this weekend?

Pink Kisses & Wishes,
Mallory

  2. Love that you got a gift too! I have a secret, family sugar cookie recipe, but they by no means take 3 days to make--must be some AH-MAZING cookies. Feel free to mail me some! ha ha jk

  3. Thanks Katie, you too! I'll have to hop on over to your blog and check out your weekend:)

Alana- haha they are pretty good if I do say so myself:) It's something crazy like making the dough one day because it has to sit overnight in the fridge, one day to roll/cut out/bake all the cookies (we make a million!) and then one day to frost/decorate. It's quite a production! Maybe we should do a cookie swap;)
